I pamper myself by first getting a new hair cut, facial, manicure with pedicure. I then get a expensive meal at a fine restaurant before going shopping for a new outfit. By dusk I am watching a new release at the movie theatre. Afterward, I stop off at my favorite watering hole for a nightcap and chit-cat with the locals. That is my pampered day.

Pampering often means treating myself to a completely unnecessary pair of shoes. Then again, shoes are a necessity aren’t they? Actually I love spending the day at an art museum, sans kids, so I can leisurely look at the work and have a peaceful lunch.

Lola, yes, shoes are a necessity but they’re not my weakness. It’s purses and costume jewelry. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

I’m pouting. Bn100 too my answer. Chocolate is all I need to feel pampered. A massage, pedicure with manicure, and relaxing on the beach with a good book doesn’t hurt either.

first i soak in a bath filled with my favorite rose scented bath oils and bath soaps,I only use them when i fell down because they are hand milled and really expensive, and listen to Dean Martin music(he had such an awesome voice). then i put on a pretty/slilky night gown ,(or maybe my flannel pj’s depending on my mood),LOL! then i make myself some double chocolate chocolate chunk turtle brownies and while they are still warm i top them with sea salt carmel cashew ice cream. i sit down and watch one of my favorite movies. if i can find it it is usually “The Quiet Man” with John Wayne and Maureen O’hara (very romantic) or if not then i may watch “The Color Purple” or maybe “the 1979 version of “Dracula” or even better “Van Helsing” with Hugh Jackman (such a hot guy!) or even “Young Frankenstein” with Gene Wilder and Madeline Kahn.(so funny)!

as you can see it all depends on my mood what type of movie i watch. LOL! by the time the night is over i am as relaxed and papmered as a person can get. i know it doesn’t sound like much but the simple things in life can go a long way in soothing your soul when you are upset or just plain tired. 🙂

Tammy, you pamper yourself well. Congrats! After all of these comments, I’ve come to realize that I seriously need to upgrade my pampering methods.

I agree, Starla. By reading these comments, I don’t pamper myself enough. My pampering is doing yoga (for me it’s a real treat) or going for a walk, getting some romances to read and reading without any interruptions for a few hours. That’s a rare treat for me. Maybe a cup of tea and some nuts to snack on while I read. Perfume and a pretty scarf or shoes would be nice, too. But really, I don’t pamper myself enough. That sea salt caramel ice-cream sounds heavenly. Thanks for the giveaway.

I pampered myself yesterday after I finished a personal history writing project for an older man that I’ve been working on far too long. It was one of those things I kept postponing finishing. My bad. Anyway, task completed, I went out and a really cute new bumble bee teapot to my teapot collection.
